Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) is going to have a big week on EastEnders when he finds out that Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) and his girlfriend Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) are having an affair.

Fans of the BBC One soap opera are aware that the three are entangled in a romantic triangle at the moment, with Anna trapped in the middle between the two boys.

After the horrifying spiking episode, Freddie is currently attempting to control his impulses after the two had a tender moment.

In scenes that air this week, the whole situation is thrown on its head (again) when she discovers that she is pregnant.

The news couldn’t come at a worse time for poor Anna, who has had a turbulent time of late with the goings-on of the Knight-Carter clan. When she tries to turn to Bobby for support, he’s called off to a work emergency – and Freddie provides a shoulder to cry on instead.

Unfortunately, wanting to keep the distance between them, he dismisses her.

Later, following a dizzy spell and a nasty vomiting spell in the café, her sister Gina (Francesca Henry) encourages her to take a pregnancy test. Both are stunned when it comes back with a positive result.

Looking into next week, Anna insists that she’s happy with the news, and intends to inform Bobby. When he turns up at the pub, he tells Gina that Anna has been dodging his calls and she instantly knows that things aren’t as her sister is making them out to be.

Admitting that she isn’t ready to have a baby, Anna is encouraged to explore her different options.

The secret doesn’t remain so for very long, when Freddie uses her laptop and sees details of an abortion clinic. Keeping the trust between them, he stays quiet and later, she asks him not to tell Bobby.

Can he betray his best mate?

As the drama continues, Anna’s determined to go through with the treatment alone and brushes Bobby off when he invites her out – and Freddie is insistent that she comes clean.

Little does she know, he’s then follows her to the clinic, but is touched by his presence.

Elsewhere, thoroughly out of the loop, Bobby’s taken aback when Peter (Thomas Law) shares Lauren’s (Jacqueline Jossa) theory about Anna potentially being pregnant.

On dad Ian’s (Adam Woodyatt) advice, he calls round at The Vic to talk to Anna – but catches her and Freddie in an emotional moment, with the two kissing.

All hell then breaks loose as the lads clash and Bobby assumes that Freddie is the baby-daddy. As Martin (James Bye) restrains Bobby, Anna arrives and insists it’s not what he thinks.

What impact will this have on their future together?
