Andrew is questioned by the police

Justin and Cash had been working hard to put together Andrew’s past. When the two discover that he was listed as missing when he was four years old, they make progress.

Despite being escorted to the police station for an interview, Andrew finds the lengthy questioning to be too much for him. When Andrew lashes out, he admits that his father’s strict control has caused him to forget the past.

Justin, who is in desperate need of explanations, tells Theo that finding Andrew’s mother might hold the key to unlocking his memories.

Andrew’s past is revealed

The more time Leah and Andrew spend on the beach and in Leah’s presence, the more Andrew’s memories start to surface. However, as Cash presses for further details, Andrew panics and complains to the officer that he is asking too many questions.

Later, Justin leaves Leah and Andrew on the sand and goes back to the police station, where he discovers that Andrew’s captors were a legendary doomsday-prepper sect by the name of “Vita Nova.”

Leah and Justin make a dark discovery

After learning about Andrew’s childhood in a cult, Justin and Leah decide to look into it more.

The pair discovers the group is more hazardous than they had thought when they read stories about doomsday preppers.

Alf’s encouraging remarks help Justin and Leah realize they’re not fighting this battle alone as they weigh the amount of time and patience they will need to support Andrew through such a terrible ordeal.

 Cash and Eden clash

Remi and Eden are at odds over her refusal to accept Cash’s offer to pay for a Lyrik studio recording. Remi tries everything to change her mind, but Eden knows having her boyfriend be a primary investor would be disastrous for her relationship and their music careers.

Cash is offended when Eden rejects his loan and starts questioning if her heart is really invested in their future together.

Eden is keen to explain her reasoning, but Cash refuses to listen. However, a chat with Justin gives him a fresh perspective on the situation and he tells Eden that he’s happy to go with whatever decision she makes.

Bree’s not happy with Remi

Remi comes up with a fresh idea for financing Lyrik’s album and chooses to enter them in a “battle of the bands” contest.

Remi is motivated by his choice to put the competition first to postpone Lyrik’s tour so he may spend more time with Bree. Bree, however, expresses her disempowerment at Remi making such a significant sacrifice and is not thrilled about it.

Remi makes an effort to diffuse the situation by stating that he understands Bree’s need to find solutions to her own issues and that his decision to concentrate on a studio record is based on a number of considerations.

Marilyn continues her fight

With Alf and Roo on board, Marilyn and Kirby continue to search for other victims of Stunning Organics willing to speak out.

Alf and Roo’s ‘secret weapon’ comes up trumps with some valuable dirt to use against the corrupt cosmetics giant.

More individuals come forward with their own stories, but unfortunately none are willing to go on record to assail Stunning Organics.

Marilyn is set free

When Marilyn, Roo, and Alf find the name of a former parent business tucked beneath the label of a Stunning Organics product, they make some progress.

The group gets to work and drafts an email telling Marilyn to terminate her 12-month contract after detailing all of the company’s illegal practices. if not.

Marilyn becomes increasingly anxious as the week goes by since Stunning Organics has not communicated. After that, she gets an answer that accedes to her demands but only on the condition that she sends back all of her goods.

Marilyn is incredibly relieved, but she experiences a moral problem when she worries that the boxes might be thrown onto another unfortunate person.

Mali and Rose make up

Rose is avoiding him since she is still hurt over Mali’s rejection, but Xander always manages to run into his sister’s ex-boyfriend.

Without wanting to be the messenger, Xander strikes a bargain with Mali, promising to watch over Mackenzie when she returns to Salt as long as Mali mends her relationship with Rose.

Mali shows up at Rose’s door and berates him for meddling in her life. Rose is irritated, but Xander argues she needs to solve her problems.

After finally confronting Mali because she realizes he is correct, the former lovers decide to remain simply friends.

Mac returns to work

Mackenzie finds herself returning to Salt because she is tired of being at home and needs a good cup of coffee. Mali worries that it’s too soon to work while she’s there, but she can’t help but feel the impulse.

When Mac tries to handle the tension and snaps at Xander and Felicity, it appears that his fears were unfounded. Mac sobs inconsolably behind closed doors, still hurting for Gabe.

When Xander witnesses her sobbing, Mac retaliates by making him suffer for having witnessed her at her most vulnerable. As suggested by Felicity, Xander keeps a low profile today. Later, when he opens up to Mac, she starts telling the truth.

Kahu makes a confession

With his charisma and assurance, Kahu is winning over people, but Tane still harbors misgivings about him. He makes an overt attempt to spy on his cousin but is ultimately exposed.

When Tane looks for evidence of Kahu’s business setup but comes up empty-handed, tensions continue to build.

In the end, Kahu comes clean, confessing that his pursuit of his boyhood ambition has put him in financial trouble, and he is now taking out loans to pay off his debts.

Tane graciously gives Kahu the space to call his mother and tell her the truth about the situation he’s in when he decides to do so.
