Coming up on Home and Away, newcomer Mercedes is busy ruffling feathers in Summer Bay.
Elsewhere, Cash and Justin’s attempt to rescue Andrew from Vita Nova goes horribly wrong, and Marilyn receives a sinister package from Stunning Organics.

Mercedes gets Eden’s back up
In Summer Bay, the arrival of spunky rock gal Mercedes has created quite a commotion. Eden is convinced Mercedes cannot be trusted, but Remi believes his old friend is the secret weapon Lyrik needs to win the “Battle of the Bands” tournament.
Eden might be wary of the lady who introduces herself as Remi’s “original bestie,” but Felicity clicks with her right away.
Eden is incensed to learn Mercedes is moving in with them and Felicity agrees to let her.
Bree feels threatened by Mercedes
Bree is suspicious of Mercedes as well and wants to know what’s going on with her.
She questions boyfriend Remi about his relationship with the vivacious violinist since she clearly feels threatened and wants to know if there is more to their relationship than just friendship.
Bree’s worries are quickly allayed by Remi, who emphasises that she has nothing to be concerned about with Mercedes.
Lyrik are at war
As Kirby attempts to deal with her break-up from Theo, there are further rifts in Lyrik. Theo and Mercedes are something she and Eden discuss skipping practises to avoid, but they ultimately decide they can face it if they stick together.
Even while band practise starts off well, tensions often escalate into heated arguments. While Theo and Kirby’s personal issues are brought up at work, a furious Eden slams the door and sends Mercedes out.
Remi is undeterred by the continuous strife within Lyrik and is confident that if the bandmates can put their differences aside, they will win the upcoming competition.
Kirby and Theo call a truce
Leah is there to lend her nephew a sympathetic ear as word of Kirby and Theo’s nasty breakup spreads. Marilyn gives Kirby the option to express her emotions, which is a significant source of comfort for her.
Kirby and Theo realise they need to be more level-headed after hearing Leah and Marilyn’s sage advice.
In the hopes that things will start to get better between them, the ex-couples decide to continue speaking.
Rose and Mali go on a break
Not only Theo and Kirby are at odds; Rose and Mali are also in a precarious relationship.
Rose decides to take a break despite Mali’s assurances that things will be different this time since she doesn’t believe he will stand up for them.
Mali acknowledges Rose’s demand for privacy and is motivated by Irene’s prodding to’show up’. Mali is still optimistic that he would be able to persuade Rose that he deserves another shot because he knows that is something he can achieve.
Cash breaks the law
By stealing Andrew’s sensitive information from the station, Cash puts his police career at risk. Cash is a man on a mission, despite Felicity and Eden’s warnings that getting caught would have dire consequences.
Cash then cautions Justin that if they don’t back off and allow the task force do its job, they risk becoming like Andrew’s mother.
Justin advises that they raid the compound and drag Andrew out because he doesn’t want to know. Cash is aware that Justin might go to jail if he follows that line of action, though.
Cash and Justin’s rescue mission fails

Leah and Justin vow to fight for Andrew
When Leah gets home early, she is shocked to learn about Andrew’s torture at Vita Nova’s hands. Leah is upset and lashes out at Justin for allegedly abandoning up on the boy.
The couple reconciles after she apologises for her outburst, but she continues to worry terribly about Andrew.
When they discover a note that Andrew placed into Justin’s pocket during the aborted rescue attempt, they might still have some hope.
Leah and Justin are more determined than ever to rescue Andrew from the cult’s grasp as a result of the finding.
Kate leans on Xander
Kate visits Xander in Salt again because she needs advice from a person who knew Jamie. Xander invites Kate to stay the night at his house, and the two of them spend the evening talking about the late paramedic.
The following morning, Xander accepts Kate’s invitation to go with him to her son’s soccer game, but Mackenzie quickly points out that Jamie’s widow could be becoming a little too reliant on him.
Xander pulls back after realising she is correct but Kate shows up at Salt wanting to see him. When Mac tries to step in, Xander responds angrily, telling her to mind her own business and back off.
Marilyn receives another threat
With the publication of her candid interview in a national newspaper, Marilyn’s valiant battle against Stunning Organics is making her a household figure.
Shortly after the post goes viral, Roo starts receiving thousands of dollars’ worth of requests for paid interviews.
Irene is still afraid about her friend’s safety despite the fact that it looks Stunning Organics have received the message not to tamper with Maz. And when Marilyn’s phone buzzes with another ominous message, it seems she has good reason to be concerned.
Marilyn fights back
Supported by Roo and John, a shaken Marilyn goes to the police station to report the menacing photographs she has received.
Cash sets up precautions to help keep Marilyn safe and attempts to trace the source, but reaches a dead end.
The police tell Marilyn not to give any further interviews regarding Stunning Organics, but she refuses to be quiet and enlists Kirby to record a video of her exposing the CEO as a bully and coward.
Shortly after the video goes live, a suspicious package arrives from Stunning Organics addressed to Marilyn. What fresh danger is lurking inside?
