Bernie Winter from Coronation Street has avoided the romance between Aadi Alahan and Courtney Vance and has supported Dev Alahan as he tries to make sense of it.
In tonight’s episode of Coronation Street, Courtney Vance (played by Stephanie Davis) attempted to make Darren Vance (Ryan Early) envious but ended up in Bernie Winter’s (Jane Hazlegrove) crosshairs.
Although Bernie occasionally stirs up more drama than is necessary, she tends to stay out of the way when it comes to Dev Alahan’s (Jimmi Harkishin) family issues.
She drew Courtney aside in recent scenes, though, and sternly warned her not to play pranks on Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain).
Recently, Courtney and Aadi made the decision to live together. They informed Dev, Bernie, and Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) of their decision.
When Aadi realized he didn’t have enough money for the deposit while eating breakfast, Asha suggested he sell his PlayStation.
Before telling Aadi that they should go to the Bistro to celebrate their move, Courtney boxed everything up and advised that she sell her wedding and engagement rings.
But as they entered the eatery, it became apparent that Courtney was up to no good and had interrupted one of Darren’s clients’ birthday festivities.
Darren made sure to take a seat in front of Courtney when he sat down at the table, and she promptly licked Aadi.
He asked for whose benefit after swiftly noticing that Courtney had been staring across at Darren the entire time.
Darren, who was paranoid, claimed that the two of them were talking about him. Courtney said, “Why would I be? I couldn’t care less about you.
When Courtney recommended that they go furniture shopping after having Courtney on the ropes, it infuriated Darren, who overheard the conversation.
“As if you would give me a coronary,” he slammed. “You silly cow.”
While Bernie was trying to calm things down, Courtney was grinning throughout as if she wanted the two of them to fight over her.
Courtney was cautioned by Bernie before he left: “I wasn’t sticking up for you, I was sticking up for Aadi.
“Listen, princess; your card has been marked. It implies that you are utilizing the young man while yet obviously harboring sentiments for your ex.
Has Courtney’s game plan been discovered by Bernie? Will she be able to warn Aadi away from her in time?
