Channel Seven announces the air date of the new Dancing With the Stars as Laura Byrne and Home and Away’s Emily Weir lead the cast line-up

The premiere date for the upcoming Dancing With the Stars season has been revealed by Channel Seven. On Sunday, June 18, the network will debut the new show.

Emily Weir from Home and Away, Matt Preston from MasterChef, and Laura Byrne from The Bachelor are among the stars vying for this year’s sparkling mirror ball award.

Olympic gold medalists James Magnussen and Sally Pearson are also part of the cast, along with Charlie Albone from Better Homes and Gardens. Marriage of Muriel

This season, dancers include Wentworth actress Pia Miranda, comedian Mary Coustas, and The Musical star Christie Whelan-Browne.

Actress Virginnia Gay from the venerable soap opera All Saints, singer Paulini, and actor Phil Burton from Human Nature round out the cast.

The toe-tapping entertainment will once again be hosted by Daryl Somers and Sonia Kruger.

Meanwhile, a panel of judges, including former drag queen star Craig Revel Horwood, will evaluate the celebs’ dance floor prowess.

The 58-year-old Horwood, who is best known as a judge on the BBC reality series Strictly Come Dancing, has been a judge on the Australian version of DWTS since 2019. He was born in Australia.

Additionally returning this season are judges Todd McKenney and Sharna Burgess.

DWTS host Sonia Kruger revealed upcoming changes to the show’s formula when speaking with Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies of The Morning Show.

It follows recent rumors that Sonia may be preparing to join the Real Housewives of Sydney cast.

While Andy Cohen was in Australia for WorldPride, the blonde beauty is claimed to have captured his attention.

All ten Real Housewives franchises are executive produced by Cohen, and the Foxtel-aired Australian edition is made by Matchbox Entertainment.
