Nikolas Cassadine is back in action on General Hospital, hiding out until he’s ready to surprise Port Charles.

Another daytime veteran reappears, while another might leave GH—at least temporarily. Check out the most recent ABC sudsfest casting moves.

Comings and Goings on General Hospital: Nikolas Cassadine is Still Alive

Casting news for GH Adam Huss’ character Nikolas Cassadine is still alive and hiding out in Pautuck. The last time we saw Nik, he was on life support after being beaten by Ava Jerome (Maura West), who believed she had murdered him. She didn’t want to murder him, of course.

But after he threatened to abduct her small daughter, Avery Corinthos (one of the Scarola twins), she became frantic. But when he unwinds and enjoys beers while watching General Hospital, Nikolas suddenly appears to be doing fantastic.

He’s probably planning to exact revenge on Ava for almost killing him. Ava, though, will soon have even more on her plate. She will eventually discover that Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) has been deceiving her all along.

He was the one who kept Nik alive, as we now know. And he has known that he was alive the entire time. So, Austin had better be careful when Ava finds out the truth. The major General Hospital surprise could be coming shortly given that we know Nik is still alive.

Blair Cramer Will Return to the PC, Per GH Casting

Blair Cramer (Kassie DePaiva), a former cast member of One Life to Live and Days of Our Lives, will also be visiting Port Charles this month. Blair last visited the area in 2012, the year OLTL was cancelled. She spent a considerable amount of time on General Hospital.

Although the duration will be shorter this time, it will still be interesting. Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) and his enigmatic ex-wife #3 might be involved. Additionally, she might have a role in the legal drama Deception starring Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring).

Updates on General Hospital casting: Jackson Montgomery is gone?

Jackson Montgomery (Walt Willey) just made a comeback to take on Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) as a client, according to previous GH casting news. And they’re pursuing Lucy’s business, Deception. However, the trial doesn’t begin for another six months.

Jackson may therefore leave General Hospital before it starts. In other developments, Lauren Swickard’s Nurse Janice is still on. She also has a significant role to play in the Ferncliff narrative involving Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). Also staying for the time being is Andrea Gates (Lily Anne Harrison).

However, official teasers indicate that her surrogacy plot with Molly Lansing (Brooke Anne Smith) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) may encounter difficulties. Thus, she might leave shortly. GH recently took a dramatic turn. Watch the ABC sudser to see out when Nikolas Cassadine makes his identity known.
