Coronation Street viewers saw Mason Radcliffe receive his sentencing last week for his crime against Liam Connor

It appears that fans of Coronation Street might have seen one more moment of Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan). Even though the bully was sentenced to prison last week, it appears that this year will see more of the evil on the cobbles.

This comes after Dylan Wilson’s soap opera star Liam McCheyne honored Luca on his 20th birthday. “Wishing a very happy birthday to my best mate @lucatoolan,” the actor tweeted with a photo of the pair grinning.

“We clicked right away when we first met back in July, like a house on fire. He has been on the show and he has blown it. Sharing a small portion of that with you has been a pleasure. I wish you a wonderful day, friend. Cheers to an exciting and productive new year!

Does the ITV star’s description of a year full of work and enjoyment imply that Luca’s character hasn’t ended?

Fans saw Mason’s reign of terror come to an end at the start of April after he appeared in court for threatening Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) with a zombie knife.

As both school boys gave evidence against Mason in court, the judge found him guilty as this was his second knife crime offence.

Giving her conclusion, she said: “I warn you that as a matter of law, the only sentence available for me is a sentence of imprisonment.”

Although she’s adjourned the sentencing for a week, it looks as though the teen will be spending time behind bars.

However, that doesn’t mean the actor will be gone from the cobbles for good, as often people in prison appear in the soap through visitations.

Despite Liam and Dylan getting justice as Mason is sent to serve time, fans fear this is just the beginning of a long road ahead for them.

Before the trial, Mason made it clear to Dylan that both he and his family would be in danger should he testify. Although he was warned by both Mason and his thug friends, Dylan chose to do the right thing.

Choosing to send Mason to prison, this could spark a need for revenge with his bully friends and family.

Taking to Twitter to air their concerns, @FillsWhales said: “Now Mason’s entire family comes for Liam and Dylan. There are no happy endings in life.”

@VampLover27 commented: “They’re gonna get targeted by Masons boys 100 percent.”
