In the most recent episode of EastEnders, Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) continued the plot of his dramatic return with yet another scathing statement.

His ex-wife Suki (Balvinder Sopal) decided to concentrate on her future with partner Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) after finding that Nish is, in fact, dying and that this wasn’t one of his schemes to worm his way back into the family. They celebrated Eve’s birthday.

While Nish was in the café telling Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris) that he never thought of the place as his legacy, Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) was ignoring his calls.

While Suki, Eve, Ravi, and Vinny (Shiv Jalota) used a family vote to ensure that Nish was permanently barred from the Panesars, Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) wanted to give Nish a chance, as did her and Ravi’s children, Davinder ‘Nugget’ Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) and Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James).

Then Nish paid them a visit at the house, trying to win over some sympathy with his precarious situation and his sincere requests for forgiveness and an admission that he had changed.

Nish was eventually rejected and barred from seeing Nugget and Avani; he became breathless and ended up crying on the floor, with Suki and Eve believing that Nish was attempting to manipulate his grandchildren. However, Vinny left, Ravi told Nish it was too late, and Suki reminded him of how he had abused her.

As he confided in Zack Hudson (James Farrar), Ravi was obviously shaken by Nish’s condition even though he remained firm.

Ravi was telling Zack that he had never been good enough for his father, and Zack was saying he couldn’t take it any longer if his daughter abandoned him when he was sick, as Ravi was choosing to do with Nish.

Bernie was soon confronted by a ‘For Sale’ sign at the café as Nish, still licking his wounds, planned his next move!

When Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) and Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth) came over, Nish announced that he was giving Kathy back the café for a whooping £1!

After Suki, Ravi, and Vinny confronted Nish, who confirmed icily that he had rewritten his will, Ravi was shocked to see this. He had already gotten rid of the café because they would receive nothing upon his death because of their rejection!

As EastEnders goes on, Ravi is still feeling conflicted about what happened, and Nish has an appointment with his consultant. Is there another ruse that Nish has planned?
