The Knight family, newcomers to EastEnders, are still in shock as a result of recent Cindy Beale disclosures and the ensuing controversy.

In forthcoming episodes of EastEnders, Gina Knight (played by Francesca Henry) makes a startling confession that leaves people around her dumbfounded in the middle of a heated argument.

Since their long-lost mother Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins), who was last seen in Walford, arrived, Gina and her sister Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) had been having difficulties.

The last time Cindy, whom they mistook for Rose, was seen by the sisters and their father Geroge Knight (Colin Salmon), she left following an argument with George.

All was disclosed in the final few months of the BBC series because Cindy had compromised her witness protection identity and was unable to return to the family.

Gina and Anna, however, found it difficult to accept what their mother had decided to do.

official BBC soap opera spoilers are revealed Cindy will make a fresh attempt to entice the Panesars into investing in her pie and mash business.

Peter Beale (Thomas Law), who is very reluctant to become too connected with Suki Panesar’s (Balvinder Sopal) family, confides in Cindy about their past. Cindy then uses this information to exert pressure on Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota).

Cindy (Steve McFadden) approaches Phil Mitchell (Navin Chowdhry) for the investment money after their argument. She almost succeeds.

Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt), who flat-out refused to accept money from Phil this time, destroys the arrangement.

Later, as Peter expresses his hurt at being ignored by the recently discovered sisters Gina and Anna, Cindy becomes sidetracked.

She visits the bar to approach them, but instead has a heart-to-heart with Gina in front of Anna.

Anna, who is kindhearted, decides to inform her mother that George has a buyer for the bar.

Later, Cindy informs Ian that she owns a portion of the Marbella bar that George is selling.

Ian and Cindy decide foolishly to celebrate their new chapter by going to The Vic.

George and Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) soon begin snooping, but everyone is silenced by enraged Gina’s admission.

What might be her unexpected announcement?
