Ellie Leach of Strictly speaks up about her five-year boyfriend cheating on her.

Ellie Leach, a star of Coronation Street, is winning over the judges on the current season of Strictly Come Dancing just months after suffering grief over the suspicion that her ex-boyfriend had been unfaithful to her.

Ellie Leach, a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing, has spoken up about her heartache after alleging that her ex-boyfriend had cheated on her.

After dating Reagan Pettman for five years, the Coronation Street actress, who is coupled with Vito Coppola, announced their separation in early 2018.

Ellie finally broke her silence and admitted to joining Strictly at the “perfect time” in an interview with The Mirror.

Being betrayed was disappointing, but she said that this was the ideal time to give Strictly her best.

She and dancer Reagan first started dating in 2018, however it was revealed in May that they had broken up. It was said that he cheated on her three months later.

Ellie has never previously discussed the breakup in public while also addressing her lack of confidence.

“Self-confidence is something I’ve always struggled with,” Ellie continued.

“As an actress, people don’t see it; they believe you to be this self-assured individual who is capable of everything.

I’m hoping that Strictly will motivate me, push me, and help me realize my potential.

Ellie has been playing the part of Faye Windass in Coronation Street since 2011.

She left the serial earlier this year, leaving behind a heartfelt Instagram statement to announce her departure.

“And just like that, 12 years at @coronationstreet have come to an end,” Ellie wrote as the caption.

“At the age of nine, I could never have anticipated the profound impact this show would have on my life. Over the years, I’ve worked with some of the most amazing people and learned so much that I will treasure it for the rest of my life.

Everyone at Corrie says that we’re like a family, and we really are. I will always be grateful to have had even a small role in what makes this show so exceptional, including the cast, crew, make-up artists, costume designers, and everyone else in front of and behind the cameras.

“I am so unbelievably overwhelmed with the amount of kind comments that everyone has had about Faye over the years and how many well wishes I’ve had since announcing that I’ll be leaving and I just can’t thank you all enough for the support that everyone has given me.”(sic)
