Emmerdale rumors: Belle is eager to begin a new life.

Since Tom King (James Chase) came to Emmerdale, he has begun a new career at the vet’s office and assimilated into village life, even finally reuniting with his Uncle Jimmy, with whom he initially had a chilly relationship.

Tom’s main concern is that his relationship with Belle Dingle appears to be progressing. But it hasn’t been without its bumps.

Belle has developed jealousy at Tom’s apparent devotion to Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley). He drove Dawn around in his fancy new car, which was then taken. Viewers have begun to doubt whether Tom is truly as kind as he seems due to his response to that incident, in which he reacted violently to Belle’s offers of assistance after being attacked.

Other strange occurrences in the relationship have included Tom becoming envious of Belle’s connection to Vinny and his anger that Vinny withheld information from him regarding Belle’s mental health concerns and her relationship with Lachlan.

Of course, Tom had a rocky background. When his father Carl King (Tom Lister) was killed in 2012, Tom thought Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) was to blame. He stalked Chas mercilessly till he eventually fled the village with his mother Colleen (Melanie Ash) for Saudi Arabia.

Although Tom King has largely changed since his return, we are still unsure of how much we can trust him. It also appeared that Belle had some doubts as she recently told him she wasn’t yet ready to move in with him.

However, it appears in succeeding episodes that she has put those uncertainties to rest as her and Tom’s relationship is going well and they begin to discuss their future together.

Belle is optimistic and looking forward to the future. Will it live up to her expectations, or might this be the moment Tom’s true colors begin to emerge?
