EMMERDALE troublemaker Debbie Dingle hasn’t been seen on the ITV soap for over a year and reports have stated she would never return. However, a new theory by Express.co.uk suggests she could make one final appearance to say goodbye to her grandmother.

After being revealed as Al Chapman’s (Michael Wildman) covert lover and being connected to Sarah Sugden’s (Katie Hill) drug narrative, Debbie (Charley Webb) was last spotted in Emmerdale. Just days before her grandmother Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter), a beloved ITV soap opera character, returned to the hamlet after an 18-month absence. The Dingle family matriarch is getting ready to say goodbye to her loved ones after learning she has terminal cancer, but they may finally be reunited after not seeing each other in years.

Debbie last saw her grandma in 2019 when she moved to Scotland to run a garage that had been handed to her by Lisa Dingle (Jane Cox).

This was before it turned out Faith had known for years about Nate Robinson, Cain Dingle’s (Jeff Hordley) long-lost son.

Faith was banished from the Dales before she returned there last year with Moira Barton’s assistance since he had kept Cain from knowing about his secret kid (Natalie J Robb).

The two characters were formerly very close because of Sarah, therefore it’s a shame they haven’t seen each other more recently.

Debbie was out on police bail when the treatment was granted, so Faith accompanied Sarah to Prague and served as her chaperone.

Everyone believed this to be a success, but Sarah ended up suffering from heart failure, a highly uncommon adverse effect of chemotherapy.

Although Debbie might have lost her cool with Faith, she was grateful for her grandmother’s support. Faith was constantly by her great-side. granddaughter’s

Therefore, it would only make sense for Debbie to return the favor by standing by Faith in her time of need.

Debbie’s return for the plot hasn’t been confirmed, but as Faith’s condition worsens, family members from the past and the present might materialize.in the village to bid farewell.

After her character informed her family about the disease, the actress who plays Faith, Sally, made a hint about it in an interview with Express.co.uk and other media.

It was a huge relief for her to inform them, according to Sally. Since she has no actual idea of her remaining time, every minute is valuable.

She said, “She loves [her family] wholeheartedly,” implying that Faith has affection for each and every member of the family.

In addition, Lucy Pargeter, who plays Chas Dingle, described how her character aspires to unite them all.

They don’t know how much time she has been granted, she said in a statement to Express.co.uk and other media.
