During an interview with Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies, the former Home and Away star was ‘honest’.

In an open conversation with The Morning Show, former Home and Away star Sam Frost explained why she is “putting the brakes” on a wedding to fiancé Jordie Hansen.

Frost, who had her first child, Ted, in March, was asked by host Larry Emdur, “When’s the wedding?”

To be completely honest, Frost remarked, “I’m the one that’s, like, putting the brakes on it.

“We want to buy a house, and now that we have a baby, it’s just so expensive and it’s just hard to justify spending so much money.”

If you like, we can set up a GoFundMe campaign, Larry said in jest.

“Eventually, we will. But I believe that right now, all of our attention is on Teddy,” Frost remarked.

“You can actually do quite a lot still,” she said.

“He just brings so much happiness into our lives.

“A lot of people during the pregnancy were telling me all the hard things – which is nice to be realistic.

“So I think I had low expectations and I was like ‘this is amazing’.

“I honestly cannot believe how good he is.”

But it has not been all plain sailing for the star.

In a candid Instagram post in May, Frost said she had found breastfeeding the most difficult part of being a mother.

In an update on her website, she said the experience had been “really difficult” for her “emotionally, mentally and physically”

The actress was “in so much pain” after a few days, according to Frost, who said that her son “latched on perfectly” when he was initially born.

She said, “I tried because I was told to push through it.”

“It appeared to be deteriorating. I was sobbing instead of just making adorable little tears during every feed.

“Little Ted started crying and acting upset and agitated.

Whether it was because he wasn’t getting enough milk or if he was absorbing my energy is unclear to me.

Frost said that, in the end, she decided the bottle would be best for both of them.

The 34-year-old said that feeling “judgement and pressure” from others almost stopped her from sharing her journey.

“We all make mistakes. We all have days where we probably could have handled a situation better. But we are all trying our best. What works for one person, may not work for you,” she ended the entry.
