As the disobedient teenager tries to come to terms with the news that his father Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has returned from the dead and is back in town, viewers may anticipate seeing more of Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).

The way Danny’s mother Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) sees the development of the father-son connection is affected by her deep-seated problems with Jason.

Sam is not pleased that Jason pretended to be dead for over two years then came back home and was implicated in the shooting of her new beau Dante Falconeri ( Dominic Zamprogna). Jason in fact saved Dante’s life after an assassin shot him but for a while it looked like he could have been the shooter.

In reality, Jason was part of an undercover operation that had to do with the shooting. Jason was working undercover for the FBI in a sting to bring down Dante’s dad, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Danny visited Bobbie’s last week, where Jason rents an upper room. He took advantage of Sam’s prohibition on him interacting with Jason to sneak inside his father’s house and have a quick peek around.

Danny tried on his father’s notorious black leather jacket and was impressed by the trappings of his rebellious life.

On Monday, April 22, Danny and Jason will have a shared scene. When Jason returns to his room, he finds Danny wearing his jacket and grinning broadly. It would be fascinating to watch how this “break-in” is handled and whether Sam will be informed, as previews suggest that Jason is not as impressed with his mini-me.
