General Hospital Spoilers: GH Alum William DeVry Appears In New Hallmark Movie

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease William DeVry, formerly Julian Jerome, appears in a new Hallmark movie called “Whitewater Romance”. The movie will air Saturday, May 8 at 8:00 pm on the Hallmark Channel.

General Hospital Spoilers: William DeVry’s Last Two Soap Characters Died

Fans of DeVry should be happy that their favorite actor isn’t losing his life in any of his TV series; in 2023, he starred in “Christmas At The Chalet,” a holiday film that aired on the Lifetime channel.

William doesn’t seem to have had much luck playing soap opera characters; Julian was shot after a confrontation with Maurice Benard’s Sonny Corinthos.

Julian drowned after they both went through a bridge while fighting with one another, and Sonny ended up in Nixon Falls.

William portrayed Storm Logan in the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful before that. It’s understandable why Storm has shifted to Hallmark and Lifetime films—he shot himself in the head to donate his heart for his younger sister Katie Logan’s (Heather Tom) transplant!

GH Spoilers: William DeVry Plays Jim Burdett

Whitewater rafting is evidently one of the group activities at the retreat location in the Rocky Mountains, where William portrays Jim Burdett, the retreat coordinator.

He is pictured on the Hallmark Channel website in a big raft with oars, along with a number of other people who are dressed for rafting, including the film’s other stars. Maya and Matt are portrayed by Cindy Busby and Benjamin Hollingsworth, two beloved Hallmark Channel network stars.

At initially, the movie’s couple doesn’t get along, but one half is encouraged to let their heart be their compass. When Matt first shows up for an exclusive corporate retreat, Maya is competing with him in a raft race, and they are compelled to work together.

General Hospital Spoilers: A Connection Forms

As Matt and Maya fall in love, their improbable bond blossoms into something much more. Cindy Busby, also known as Maya, spoke a wide range of topics, including “Whitewater Romance” and her years as Ashley in the television series “Heartland.”

“If you take this way, it could be towards the greatest adventure of your life,” says Jim Burdett, played by DeVry, to Maya in a movie trailer.

Once more, the movie will premiere on the Hallmark Channel on Saturday, May 8 at 8:00 p.m. If you enjoy mountains, you will adore the scenes’ gorgeous landscape!

With stunning mountains providing a picturesque backdrop for the scenes, it looks to be a fun romantic film.
