It looks like trouble’s brewing in Molly and TJ’s relationship and it centers over Kristina’s surrogacy, although they have merely failed to communicate about it properly.

TJ recently discussed his communication issues with Molly with his grandfather Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett). In particular, he discussed how he supported Molly and Kristina’s decision to use a surrogate, which was essentially made without his participation.

It was almost like it was a done deal by the time Kristina made her suggestion, after their first surrogate lost their baby, but he felt pressured to agree.

He and Molly were both heartbroken when their first surrogate lost the first embryo, and Kristina offered not only to donate an egg but carry the baby.

There were many issues of illegality concerning such a situation in the state of New York according to Molly and Kristina’s mom, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

GH Spoilers: Avoiding The Subject

TJ’s admission that he and Molly had been avoiding the topic of surrogacy in an effort to avoid having uncomfortable talks shocked Marshall.

Although it’s too late to reverse his ill-considered choice, this is undoubtedly a problem that will persist. An explosion will eventually result from holding such intense emotions inside, refusing to discuss them, and choosing instead to dance around or bottle them up.

Marshall suggested that they concentrate on romance before the new kid is born, but it might not work because they are already experiencing difficulties and the romance-focused approach is just another avoidance strategy.

If their problems with one another and the circumstance are not resolved, they will unavoidably get worse, and a breakup may occur quickly—not to mention Kristina’s developing attachment to the child.

General Hospital Spoilers: The Stress Could Tear TJ And Molly Apart And Kristina Could Fight For Custody

Given that the infant is TJ’s child, the strain of the circumstance may cause TJ and Molly to become estranged from one another.

That would be due to worries for her and the child’s wellbeing, but it’s also possible that you were keeping too close tabs on Kristina, and it’s possible that she wanted the child for herself.

Although Molly and Kristina appear to be enjoying her pregnancy at the moment, TJ feels like a third wheel, and to further complicate matters, Kristina is in a committed relationship right now.

As a same-sex couple, Kristina and Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) are obviously unable to conceive a child of their own, thus Kristina is expecting a ready-made child.

If TJ and Molly split up, Kristina might decide to take TJ out of the picture completely and use their breakup to her advantage to keep the kid!
