Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy), who is occasionally his adversary in court, are expected to bond, according to General Hospital teasers and updates. Could Robert have made the decision to start dating again after consulting with his ex-wife Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)?
General Hospital Spoilers: Diane Miller Recovered And Released?
Since being assaulted by “The Hook” in the late Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) garage, Diane seems to have recovered very well. She was fortunate that Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) had identified the poison that killed Brando and had acquired the anti-venom she needed to prevent death. The fact that the assailant was a woman allowed Diane to clear out a number of potential candidates, and the search is now on for a woman wearing jingling jewelry.
Robert is relieved to hear that Diane is recovering after his concerns about her. He thinks that this would be an excellent opportunity to get to know Diane better outside of the courtroom. When she is discharged from GH, he decides to invite her to a wonderful lunch.
GH Spoilers: Single For A While
Diane, who had a long-term relationship with Max Giambetti (Derk Cheetwood), a former henchman of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), has apparently found love again. Both Max and Milo Giambetti, played by Drew Cheetwood and formerly romantically involved with Sonya Eddy’s Epiphany Johnson, have left Port Charles. As a result, Diane accepts his invitation even though neither he nor she have been romantically connected for a few years. Robert chooses a good supper, but nothing too extravagant—after all, he isn’t trying to whisk her off her feet when she has just recently gotten back on them. They decide to meet up at the Metro Court when she chuckles at his dry Australian sense of humor in response to his remark.
General Hospital Spoilers: Stay Away From Shop Talk
Despite the fact that discussing current events invariably leads up the topic of crime, the two of them decide to avoid engaging in shop talk. They proceed to discuss some of the earlier WSB cases Robert was engaged in as well as some of the super criminals he had brought to justice. They concur that despite how tough things have been recently and over the past few years around the Port Charles criminal scene, at least they aren’t now dealing with cartels.
They do agree to keep things informal and do mention that getting to know one another better outside of court would be fascinating. If she returns to work, it can be awkward.
