General Hospital spoilers claim Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may be fooling himself into thinking he’s happy to be moving on from his soon-to-be ex-wife, Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros), it’s going to hit him hard when he learns she’s been making her own moves in Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) direction.

Port Charles may be no stranger to lovers being passed around from one to the next like candy, but fans shouldn’t be surprised if Sonny goes on the attack this time around — insinuating Drew is keen on going after his leftovers. First Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), then Nina.

Is Ava Jerome (Maura West) next? Nina may revel in it if her tryst with Drew catches Sonny’s attention, but she’s probably not prepared for how he handles jealousy.

Nina couldn’t wait to run back and tell Drew what she saw at the Metro Court Hotel. Seeing Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) open the door to Special Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates’ (Adam Harrington) room while he was dressed in nothing more than a towel — fresh from the shower — was all the evidence Nina needed to run her mouth.

Getting her facts twisted, she’s about to start an epic rumor that will only make it more convenient for Carly to return the favor when she hears of Nina’s roll in the hay with Drew. An eye for an eye, right?

GH Spoilers Suggest Sonny Loses His Cool

We may expect Sonny to be furious when he hears Carly is cavorting with the FBI agent who has been trying to take him down, but nothing will prepare him for learning his wife has been hooking up with Drew.

Of course, Nina might relish any sign that Sonny still cares for her, but that won’t last for long. We know how Sonny operates. If he thinks Nina — who wronged him — has been off having romantic interludes with someone else while pretending to want him back, he’s going to make sure he gets her back alright.

General Hospital Spoilers — Ava Becomes the Rebound

Ava is currently in a good position to be used as bait in Sonny’s plot of retaliation against Nina. In his opinion, it’s a win-win situation because any female companion will give him the much-needed diversion he needs at this particular moment.

In addition, Ava feeds his alcoholism, validates his illogical opinions about his friends and family, and gives him the impression that he is always right even when he is wrong.
