Scott Baldwin’s (Kin Shriner) devious tactics put Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) on trial, while plans for Martin Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) and Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) wild night were revealed in the General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, December 23. Let’s take a look at what happened on GH on Thursday.

Martin awoke in bed with Lucy in a Metro Courtroom after a boozy night of steaminess. Lucy and Martin exchanged seductive glances as they opted to take the walk of shame.

They dressed up for breakfast in their holiday attire from the night before, knowing that people would be talking.

Meanwhile, in the Metro Court, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) discovered Laura Collins (Genie Francis) canoodling with Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom).

Nikolas believed Kevin and Laura needed more time to reunite, but Laura was adamant about holding the meeting.

Laura persuaded Nikolas to back Spencer because she was afraid of what would happen if Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) was in charge.

Due to Spencer’s inability to accept responsibility for his crimes, Nikolas was apprehensive, but Laura believed Nik needed to do what was best for his kid.

Laura also drew Martin away from his table with Lucy to inform him that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) didn’t send the assassin – at least, that’s what he said. She was only trying to warn Martin, and she ended up teasing him with a dry-cleaner tip for his Santa suits.

Despite Lucy’s assumption that Laura had warned Martin about spending time with her, Martin made it plain that he didn’t want their good times to come to an end.

Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) interrupted Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) at Cam’s apartment with a pronouncement about the worst thing that could ever happen.

Esme said she didn’t expect Josslyn to be there when she saw her. Esme didn’t expect Josslyn to be at her boyfriend’s house, which Josslyn found odd.

After Esme mentioned how difficult Spencer was having with his 30-day prison sentence, Josslyn reminded out that he was going there alone, despite the fact that Esme was just as culpable.

Esme highlighted the cabin retreat she mentioned earlier and expressed her desire to make it happen before Spencer returned to Spring Ridge in the new year.

Esme persuaded Josslyn to speak with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) about reserving the cabin for Spencer’s sendoff, and she was convinced that Sonny would agree.

Josslyn told Cameron that she’d cave on the cabin once they were alone, but she wasn’t altering her mind on Esme. Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) then paid a visit to Kelly’s and was introduced to Victor.

Spencer moaned about how scared he was now that the 30-day prison sentence had been handed down. He had hoped for a better bargain, but Victor believed this was a good one and basically told Spencer to man up – though he was charming as usual.

Spencer and Trina eventually enjoyed a sweet moment, and Trina didn’t mind Spencer’s nervousness because it demonstrated that he was human.

Esme didn’t seem pleased to be there when she interrupted, but she put on a brave front and mentioned the couple’s vacation.

Spencer reminded Esme that it wasn’t just for couples, so Esme pretended she didn’t mean it as a dig at Trina.

Esme was eventually phoned on speakerphone by Josslyn and Cameron to inform her that the cabin plan would go ahead.

Despite Esme’s suspicions that Trina would be too preoccupied to attend, Trina assured her that she would.

Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) had a PCU brochure at her house and told Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) that she was considering returning to school.

Later, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) appeared on official police business and said that an anonymous tip led to evidence that Hayden Barnes’ (Rebecca Budig) shooting was the result of a deceased hitman.

Shawn was officially clear now that the weapon had been tested, but he privately discussed it with Alexis since they both realized Nikolas was behind the tip.

Nikolas phoned Shawn to update him on the rest of the nonprofit funds that were being transferred, as well as the status of Shawn’s cleared name. Shawn pretended to agree that their arrangement was coming to an end, but he intimated to Alexis that it wasn’t.

Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) pressed Scott on the phone outside Kelly’s to find a way to get Willow on the stand. Liesl caught paths with Victor after she hung up the phone, and she wasn’t happy about it.

Victor flirted with Obrecht before becoming threatening and pleading with him not to get in his way. Liesl, on the other hand, had her own warning about Scott’s potential.

Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) expressed her desire to put the Nixon Falls drama behind them in the courtroom. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was the last person she wanted in their lives — and then Nina emerged.

Nina felt happy that Willow was keeping her Nixon Falls romance a secret in a quiet moment with Willow. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was perplexed as to why they were interacting, but Willow provided a hazy explanation.

Scott overheard some discussion about how he could cross-examine any witness who was called and got an idea. Nina became worried about Scott’s plans after he intimated to her that her odds in court were higher than she believed.

Once the judge began the preliminary hearing, Sonny took the stand.

Sonny insisted on focusing on his wife and not wasting any more time when Scott questioned why he didn’t press charges against Nina.

Michael, Scott pointed out, didn’t share his viewpoint, and he drew attention to a campaign donation he and his ex-wife Willow made together.

The assistant DA decided to have Willow testify in order to clear things up after Scott acted as if the donation was a bribe.

Both Nina and Willow looked rather panicked over Willow getting called to the stand.

General Hospital spoilers say some exciting courtroom developments are still to come, so keep watching!
