Justin and Leah receive a shock.

The truth about Andrew Lawrence’s past is finally exposed next week when a new cult storyline for Home and Away debuts on UK television.

Following the discovery that Andrew was reported missing when he was just four years old, Justin Morgan and police officer Cash Newman work together to learn more about Andrew’s ancestry.

His father Archie, who has since died away, kidnapped Andrew. The passing of Archie clarifies why Andrew was abandoned before Justin saved him a few weeks ago.

When Cash invites Andrew in for an interview, he wants to get more information.

Andrew struggles with the pressure of being in a police station and undergoing questioning, so he lashes out.

Feeling helpless, Justin explains to Theo Poulos that he’d like to track down Andrew’s mother in the hope of securing the explanations they need.

Meanwhile, Andrew continues to settle into Summer Bay life and particularly enjoys spending time on the beach.

Leah seems to have a calming effect on Andrew and she helps to extract more of the memories that he has been blocking out.

Andrew’s mood changes when Cash returns and attempts to learn more, accusing the policeman of interrogating him excessively.

Later, Cash tells Justin that new information has emerged showing that Andrew’s late father was actively involved in the doomsday-prepper sect known as “Vita Nova.”

Leah Patterson and Justin Patterson investigate the gang. The atrocities that Andrew must have experienced when he and his father were adhering to the cult’s stringent regulations are suggested by several unsettling newspaper pieces.

Leah and Justin begin to question their ability to help Andrew get through this ordeal. Since asking the teen to come in, the couple has been doing their best to assist him, but they are now beginning to feel out of their depth.

They won’t be facing this problem alone, thanks to the many professionals and friends they have available, Alf Stewart enters and says.
