Eagle-eyed Home and Away fans have spotted a hidden detail in a photo posted by one of the soap’s stars.
Irene Roberts’ Lynne McGranger posted a photo from the set of herself standing with Emily Symons’ Marilyn Chambers, Sophie Dillman’s Ziggy Astoni, Patrick O’Connor’s Dean Thompson, and Georgia Adamson’s Karen, Dean’s mother, on Instagram.
Although the image appeared innocent, there is conjecture that it contains information regarding the show’s upcoming plot.
Dean recently learned about Ziggy’s pregnancy on the show, but there is no confirmation that she will deliver a healthy baby.
The sitcom shoots episodes around five months in advance, but the image from the set shows Ziggy and Dean actually did have the child.
In the picture, Ziggy is sporting a baby bump, and at the bottom of the picture is the top of a stroller.
Fans believe that Dean’s mother Karen, who also appears as a guest character, will return for the baby’s birth.
Fans guessed a lot about Ziggy’s pregnancy after seeing the message.
“Ziggy looks to have a pregnant belly and is that the handles of a stroller as well?” one eagle-eyed fan questioned.
“Look at the picture closely,” another said.
“Nawww is Karen back to meet the baby?” a third added while a fan said: “I see a pram behind Lynne, looks like they continue on with the pregnancy.”
Lynne McGranger ‘unrecognisable’ in throwback
It follows a throwback video of Lynne, a fan favourite, sporting a short blonde pixie cut in the 1990s that made her almost unrecognizably different, shocking fans.
In 1993, Lynne made her soap opera debut as Irene Roberts.
A fan unearthed a clip from the ‘early years’, where Irene and Alisa have a heated argument in the storeroom. Fans were shocked by how different Lynne looked in 1994 compared to now.
“I always thought Irene had deep red hair. How long was she blonde for?” one fan asked.
