Home and Away reveals aftermath of Tane and Harper shock

Tane Parata of Home and Away promises to avoid Harper Matheson starting next week.

When Tane tries to kiss Harper, she rejects him, leaving him embarrassed.

After his marriage to his wife Felicity ended, the gym owner has been seeing other women again. He overestimates his luck, though, thinking that Harper, his new friend, might have feelings for him as well.

Harper is caught off guard by Tane’s attempt to kiss her in next week’s UK-pace episodes on Channel 5, and she tells him to give her some space.

Harper’s sister Dana encourages her to pursue things with Tane, branding him “the hot personal trainer”. However, Harper points out that Tane’s behaviour may have ruined their friendship and she has no interest in being another rebound option for him.

Later, Tane confides in Felicity’s brother Cash about how ashamed he feels over messing up with Harper. He expresses fears that he has ruined their bond for good.

Tane apologises to Harper and agrees that they need some space, so he passes her the details for another personal trainer.

Later in the week, Harper watches on thoughtfully as Tane finishes one of his boot camp training classes on the beach.

Harper approaches and confirms that she wants their friendship to continue, so she suggests that pretending nothing ever happened could be their best approach. Will this be possible for the pair?
