Following Kawakawa Fox-departure Reo’s from the soap opera, Home and Away star Courtney Miller shared a touching homage to the actor.
In scenes for the Australian broadcast this week (to screen in the UK in April), Nikau Parata left Summer Bay, while Courtney’s character Bella Nixon briefly returned after leaving last year.
While she welcomed being friends again, Nikau was furious when she refused to invite him to her farewell dinner. During the scenes, Nikau revealed the truth about their breakup, saying he was trying to protect her from the motorcycle gang that was targeting the Paratas.
They decided to stay together for the night since she said she didn’t want to go through another traumatic goodbye with him. He subsequently made the decision to go to New York with her, and the two traveled to America together.
Once the scenes were shown, Courtney honored Kawakawa by posting a cute photo of herself and her co-star.
“Bye to our beautiful Nikau @kawa_f_r,” she captioned the snap. “These past three and a bit years were a fun ride. It was so effortless for Bella to Love you. You’ll be missed NY BABY! #nellaforever”.
Kawakawa’s depature from the soap was first reported last year, with the star apparently keen to pursue other projects. He has been a regular part of the series as Nikau since 2019.
