Marilyn Chambers from Home and Away gets wonderful news about her Stunning Organics contest, which will air on UK television next week, but there’s a caveat.
After sending an email to the dishonest skincare firm warning that she knows their secrets, Marilyn achieves an unexpected success.
Since unintentionally entering into a demanding long-term deal with Stunning Organics requiring her to market their goods for the following year, the Summer Bay favourite has experienced restless nights.
In an effort to take on the corporation, Marilyn joins forces with Roo Stewart, Alf Stewart, and Kirby Aramoana. She also searches for additional victims who are prepared to come forward.
Although they are able to track down others who have experienced similar circumstances, none are willing to air their complaints publicly.
The amateur sleuths see a glimmer of hope when they remove one of the labels from a Stunning Organics product.
This exposes the name of an earlier business that was previously known as Stunning Organics, which appears odd.
Working together, Marilyn and her pals send an email to Stunning Organics detailing many instances of their illegal behaviour. Marilyn must be liberated from her contract, according the message, or else.
Later in the week, Marilyn is surprised to receive a response which agrees to her demands.
Marilyn is told that she’ll be released from her contract as soon as she returns the unsold boxes of products.
When a delivery driver turns up to collect the boxes, Marilyn feels uncomfortable as she realises that the products will soon be pushed onto some other unlucky individual.
Will Marilyn hand them over, or retain them and fight for a better outcome?
