Tane doesn’t realise what Felicity is about to do next…
Felicity’s experience is far from ended even though she complied with her attacker’s demand for a ransom. He is now demanding $10,000 in exchange for not publishing the video of her sexual assault online.
On this week’s episode of Home And Away, Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) and Tane (Ethan Browne) discuss their options. They are unable to raise the funds on their own, and even if they could, the blackmailer may just demand more.
According to Jacqui, the road ahead for Flick is incredibly long and terrible. Blackmail is just one of the awful things her attacker does.
Tane proposes calling the police, but Flick is emphatic that she wants to handle this on her own and get past it. They come up with a new strategy and decide to ignore the message in the hopes that it is a bluff. However, after Tane leaves for work, Flick becomes inventive.
She works on various strategies the following morning to collect the money. She overhears Lyrik talking about throwing an album release party after scheduling a meeting with the bank and seizes the opportunity to organise it at Salt.
She had a concept, but Remi (Adam Rowland) and Justin (James Stewart) wanted something greater than the restaurant. There is only one person left to turn to: Flick’s brother Cash (Nicholas Cartwright).
Flick begs for a loan while pretending to be helping Lyrik with their launch so that they can avoid telling him what’s been going on. Although he believes his sister is lying, the policeman agrees.
Later, at home, Cash inquires about the album release with girlfriend Eden (Stephanie Panozzo), wondering why she didn’t inform him that the band needed money.
Eden explains to a bewildered Flick why they declined his offer. Cash then sees that he has been deceived. There must be more to this tale…
