On Wednesday, Johnny Ruffo and his girlfriend Tahnee Sims had a great day at Movie World in Queensland.
The 34-year-old star from Home and Away was beaming as he posed with his partner in front of the Superman Escape roller coaster.
They uploaded a candid photo of Johnny wearing a white NASA shirt, a black cap, and black framed glasses to Instagram along with a number of emojis.
In a black graphic t-shirt with her golden hair hanging loosely over her shoulders and a natural makeup look applied over a full coverage base, Tahnee was a picture of beauty.
The X Factor finalist’s chemotherapy treatment for fatal brain cancer just a few weeks prior.
After after, he shared a picture of himself resting in a hospital bed on Instagram.
He captioned it, “Catching up on some zzz’s while receiving my chemo today.”
He also uploaded a video of himself dozing off with his hands crossed over his chest.
The musician recently admitted to Ryan “Fitzy” Fitzgerald and Michael “Wippa” Wipfli of Nova that he was upset when he discovered he had the illness.
In a devastating interview last month, Johnny recalled, “There’s so many conflicting emotions.”
After visiting the hospital with excruciating migraines, Johnny was initially identified as having brain cancer in 2017.
He underwent surgery to remove a 7 cm brain tumor in August of that same year, followed by chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Wippa questioned the author about his feelings of being “p***ed off” after hearing the doctors’ diagnosis during the tearful conversation.
After a protracted silence, Johnny retorted, “Yeah, I think so,” adding that he was also saddened by his recent diagnosis of terminal cancer.
Johnny bravely revealed to Fitzy and Wippa that he would use humor to get through the difficulties ahead and that he intended to remain strong and adhere to the doctor’s directions.
The talented artist has made no secret of the extent of assistance Tahnee has provided him, even attributing her with “saving” his life in an interview with WHO magazine.
