Sarah Platt, a star of Coronation Street, suggests that the villain may be "coming back" after leaving ITV.

Damon Hay, a notorious character on Coronation Street, was last seen on the cobblestones earlier this year as he fled Weatherfield out of fear for his life.

The Weatherfield resident who plays Tina O’Brien on Coronation Street has hinted that a familiar figure might be returning.

Fans of the ITV soap opera witnessed a passionate relationship develop earlier this year between Sarah Platt, played by Tina, and Damon Hay, portrayed by Ciaran Griffiths.

But things took an ugly turn when her husband Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) learned what was going on.

Adam exacted retribution by finding a criminal relationship of his own because he wanted Damon to be away from his wife as quickly as possible.

In order to obtain a lesser sentence for his role in insurance fraud, Damon fled the cobbles in panic, lying to the criminal that he intended to speak to the police.

Nevertheless, it appears as though he might be making a comeback, as soap opera star Tina O’Brien revealed to Metro this week at the charity event CUREUsher.

She stated that Sarah is going through a divorce right now when referring to her current soap opera plot.

There may be too much water under the bridge, but I’m not sure.

We’ll see, but I’ve heard a rumor that a certain Damon might be making a comeback shortly.

But if Damon does make a comeback, there might be trouble because, unbeknownst to him, Sarah was carrying his kid before she tragically miscarried.

Before she began experiencing severe stomach cramps and drove herself to the hospital, the loss took place during a contentious disagreement with Adam.

Adam took responsibility for the miscarriage after learning about it and said that it might have been caused by the stress he put her under.

Fans seemed to believe Damon wouldn’t think it was his fault, despite Sarah assuring him that it wasn’t.
