In future Coronation Street scenes, Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) is left in grave peril as Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) sets out to take his life.

Stephen has killed three people of Cobbles to date, and in scenes that will air soon, he will focus on Tim, who has been a pain in his side for months.

Tim, as viewers are aware, has long had the suspicion that Stephen is not to be trusted after discovering that the businessman was trying to obtain funds belonging to Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox).

Back when the taxi driver approached him, a confrontation ensued, and Tim made it abundantly apparent that he didn’t like to see his mother mistreated.

But Stephen was able to avoid being caught up until this point.

In upcoming moments, the killer’s reign of terror will come to a violent end, and Tim will play a significant role in it.

During a recent late-night stroll, the cherished figure followed Stephen to the canal, which aroused his suspicions.

Fans will be aware that Stephen dumped Teddy’s body in the lake, therefore it won’t be long until the body is discovered.

Photos from on-location filming have shown a confrontation in which Stephen is attempting to take Tim’s life.

With actor Joe Duttine, who plays Tim, seen on set, new pictures further indicate the dramatic scenes to come.

As you can see, the images in question show a bloodied and injured Tim getting out of his taxi after a fight with Stephen.

He has severe wounds and is obviously not in good shape.

The obvious question is if Tim is able to survive the murderer’s attack. Will he also be able to stop Stephen before he flees?

Will his wounds be lethal, or not?

Stephen will plan his escape in the next scenes, but will the truth come to light before he leaves the cobbles?
