Spoilers for Home and Away: Justin and Forrest fight to destroy Lyrik

As Kirby adjusts to life as a single artist next week on Home and Away in the UK, Forrest issues an ultimatum that could end Lyrik permanently.

If Kirby’s (Angelina Thomson) decision to leave Lyrik for a solo career wasn’t a blow to her former bandmates already, Kirby’s new manager Forrest (Elijah Williams) issues Justin (James Stewart) a frightening ultimatum that could endanger the band forever!

Kirby was starting to feel very underappreciated by Remi (Adam Rowland), Eden (Stephanie Panozzo), and Theo (Matt Evans), especially since she had been the only one working a legitimate job in recent months to ensure they could still pay the rent on No. 55. Kirby had been the only one willing to participate in the majority of the publicity drive for Lyrik’s recently released album.

Thus, even though she knew that famed label rep Forrest Duke only handles solo artists, Kirby was open to hearing him out when he knocked on her door (well, technically, he rang her).

Kirby informed Justin and Remi that she was leaving Lyrik after a few meetings and a lavish hamper helped her come to the conclusion that the promises of a solo career made by Forrest were worthwhile the risk.

Although obviously heartbroken, Justin, Remi, and Theo understood Kirby’s stance. Eden, however, was less inclined to pardon Kirby for leaving the band that they had formed in high school.

Next week when Kirby returns from the city, she tries to keep a low profile, but the fact that she still lives with Remi and Eden might raise some eyebrows. Things are progressing quickly, according to Kirby, who also informs Justin that Forrest is getting ready to make Kirby go solo public the very following day.

The band will no longer exist in that shape in less than 24 hours, which is bad news for band manager Justin who is now promoting Lyrik’s CD.

Forrest introduces himself and simply informs Justin that he’d prefer him not to speak with Kirby directly going forward; all communication should be done through him. Justin hopes to speak with Kirby further.

Using the occasion, Justin asks Forrest if there is any way Kirby’s announcement can be postponed. But Forrest won’t budge, insisting to Justin that they must maintain the momentum. Forrest asserts that Lyrik will be OK because numerous bands frequently change their line-ups.

However, Justin isn’t so sure, so the next morning when they next cross paths, he can’t help but appeal to Kirby’s better side by reminding her that it’s her friends that she’ll be influencing.

Kirby urges Forrest to postpone the launch even though it will take place in a few hours. Forrest worries Justin is talking to her without his permission, but Kirby reassures him that he promised to heed her opinion.

When Kirby reveals that she chose to stay at the Pier apartment last night rather than go home to Eden and Remi, Forrest calmly advises that she should let him handle any business choices coming forward. He can then portray himself as the villain in her friends’ eyes.

Forrest goes to the Morgan residence to inform Justin that he has begrudgingly postponed the launch at Kirby’s request. He chooses to drop a different kind of bombshell since he is pissed off that Justin defied his wishes.

The label has since withheld all copyright from all Kirby Aramoana-authored works. With immediate effect, the album must be taken down from all streaming services, and Lyrik is not permitted to perform any songs on which she has writing credit. which is all but one of their entire discography, given that Kirby was their primary songwriter.

Tane (Ethan Browne), who is located elsewhere in Summer Bay, learns that his sister-in-law Gemma (Bree Peters), was involved in a car accident in New Zealand.

A lot of fans were disappointed when Gemma, Nikau’s (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) mother, decided to stay in NZ after traveling there to scatter her late husband Mikaere’s ashes six months earlier. At the time, many viewers thought that Gemma was the most well-liked member of the family.

Tane can’t help but feel conflicted after learning that Gemma will need to spend a significant amount of time in the hospital due to a broken leg and collarbone, even though she has the support of the sizable Parata whnau. Nik, who now resides in New York with Bella (Courtney Miller), is attempting to travel there but is unable to do so because everything is booked up.

Tane is unwilling to leave her wife Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) after her own ordeal, despite the circumstances. Even though she doesn’t entirely believe it herself, Flick promises Tane that she will be alright because her assailant Jeremy (James Dyke) is currently in jail awaiting trial. He must be among his loved ones.

But just as Tane is making his flight arrangements, Flick gets a call that makes her shiver. The following morning, he decides to go to the airport without telling Tane what has happened, unaware that she is now going through more difficulty.

Following Tane’s departure, Flick quickly crosses the street to visit Eden and informs her that her assailant had asked to speak with her.
