Last week on Home and Away, Ziggy Astoni (Sophie Dillman) endangered her unborn baby after inhaling dangerous chemicals, and John Palmer (Shane Withington) had his tyres slashed.

This week, Leah Patterson (Ada Nicodemou) faces a ‘chilling’ threat to her safety, Ziggy buckles under the pressures of pregnancy, and there’s a proposal on the horizon.

Alf Stewart (Ray Meagher) and John can sense that Heather (Sofia Nolan) isn’t who she seems to be, and Summer Bay is beginning to glimpse Heather’s (Sofia Nolan) true colours.

Leah finds it strange that Marilyn Chambers (Emily Symons) assumes responsibility for John’s cut tyres even though Heather is the one who did it.

Ada claims that although Leah is aware of Heather’s “manipulative” tendencies, she is unable to undermine Marilyn’s confidence and reveal their mother-daughter bond.

She doesn’t back down, though, and tells Heather what’s on her mind, threatening to call the police if she keeps hurting Marilyn.

Sofia is a fantastic actor who genuinely enjoys her work and is quite good, according to Ada.

Her confrontational exchanges with Leah were terrifying. She’s frightful.

When Leah gets home from work and discovers that someone has broken in and utterly wrecked the apartment, the tension increases.

“Leah is shocked and scared and can’t believe Heather would do this, it’s definitely a real low. Leah is worried for everyone’s safety and knows she needs to tell Justin the truth,” Ada says.

This leaves the questions in everyone’s minds — how far is Heather willing to go?

Ziggy snaps under the pressure

Dean Thompson (Patrick O’Connor) is anxious for his girlfriend to tell her boss the truth after Ziggy’s health scare last week.

Of course, she doesn’t care how physically uncomfortable she is because she is so stubborn. What happened to working as a team? Dean can’t do anything well because of her surging hormones.

The pregnant mechanic can’t handle life at the shop and sobs in Justin Morgan’s presence (James Stewart).

Emily Weir’s Mackenzie Booth offers some sage advice, and Dean realises he must offer support no matter how agitated Ziggy becomes.

Tane plans a special surprise

Tane Parata (Ethan Browne) begins to consider his future after witnessing his ex-girlfriend Ziggy move into a more domestic setting and announce the impending birth of a child.

Jacqui Purvis’ character Felicity Newman and Tane were abducted, participated in an illicit gambling ring (where Tane was injured), and successfully carried out an undercover police operation after being threatened by bikers.

It seems logical that their relationship has only gotten better, and Tane feels ready to get married at last.

He spends days planning the perfect way to pop the question, but is Felicity ready to leave her wild and free nature behind her?
