Exclusive: Todd Boyce, a cast member of Coronation Street, has revealed what viewers can expect from the ITV drama as serial killer Stephen Reid may have a plot to escape Weatherfield.

Todd Boyce, a Coronation Street actor, has indicated that his character Stephen Reid may be preparing a “escape” due to the rumored departure of his controversial villain.

As he walked the red carpet at the Inside Soap Awards 2023 on Monday night, Todd chatted exclusively to Express.co.uk.

The American actor made a suggestion that Stephen Reid, a serial murderer who has already killed three people, is nearing his demise.

Todd responded when asked about his escape plot: “There’s a lot of unmasking going on.

As an actor, I find the fact that he has been flying under the radar for so long to be really unsettling. The other characters may now recognize me for what I am.

It’s frightening. He’s intelligent, and I believe he can get away.

As news of Stephen’s numerous murders spreads, a very dramatic tale about his departure is scheduled to air.

He has already killed Rufus Donahue, Teddy Thompkins, and Leo Thompkins, but it is unclear whether he will be apprehended.

In upcoming scenes, police officers and residents of Corrie are gathered around a grisly discovery, according to Metro.co.uk.

In addition to his three killings, Stephen attempted to poison his wife Elaine and LSD-drugged Carla.

Todd was one of the many soap opera celebrities who walked the Inside Soap Awards red carpet in 2023.

At Salsa!, one of London’s most unique locations on the bank of the River Thames, the Inside Soap Awards held their annual live event.

At the glamorous event, prizes for Best Soap, Best Storyline, Best Villain, and Best Newcomer were all up for grabs.
“Every winner of an Inside Soap Award is the best of the best, as they need to prevail in a hugely talented and competitive field,” stated Gary Gillatt, Editor of Inside Soap.

“We’re interested in finding out who this year really connected with viewers and left the strongest impression on the screen. The reader of Inside Soap is the only watcher who is more discriminating.
