Adam Thomas, a cast member of Emmerdale, danced tonight with professional partner Luba Mushtuk to the rock tune Somebody Told Me by The Killers.

Adam Thomas, a star of the television show Waterloo Road, apologized to Luba Mushtuk, his partner on Strictly Come Dancing, tonight after their dance didn’t go as well as he’d wanted.

The professional dancer and former Emmerdale actor delivered a scorching Tango to The Killers’ rock song Somebody Told Me, garnering the judges’ divided reviews.

While the pair’s routine earned them 23 points, putting them in the center of the leaderboard, Adam appeared unsatisfied with his performance.

As they joined the BBC anchor Claudia Winkleman and the other dancers upstairs, she noticed Adam’s dejected appearance and voiced her concern for the actor.

“Are you okay?” Claudia sincerely questioned him. “When I made those remarks, I was staring at your face.

Adam responded sarcastically, “Yeah, I’m wonderful, I’m on top of the world. Claudia said he was the “smiliest boy,” which made it worse to see him angry.

The actor appeared to be fighting back tears as Adam said, “I’ll be honest, I’m not smiling right now.

He apologized to his girlfriend Luba and said, “I tried my hardest, but I just feel like I let you down.”

You didn’t at all, I say. You didn’t, Claudia agreed as Luba shouted, “You didn’t! In week two, they praised the choreography and expressed their admiration for the performance. I don’t at all want you to feel awful.

Then, when Adam reflected, Luba told him she was “so proud” of him. The actor said, “I tried my best tonight and hopefully that will be enough.”

Claudia saw that Adam still appeared focused with his most recent performance after the two learned their results.

She told him not to punish himself. “Do not. Before all of Adam’s colleagues performers gathered around him for a group embrace, she continued, “We won’t tolerate it as a group.

Viewers will tune in tomorrow to see which celebrity will be the first to exit the dance floor after the opening dance-off.
