Kyle Abbott Drowning in Resentment on Young and the Restless

Back when Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) was on Y&R, he advised his mother Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) to accept the CO-CEO role at the family business, Jabot Cosmetics. Despite his desire to take the post for himself, he was attempting to be courteous.

Now though, it’s biting him again. He didn’t realize how much harder work under his mother would be. He is snapping because he is having trouble following her instructions. They are arguing at work and taking it home with them

On Young and the Restless, things are only growing worse over time, not better. This week, Kyle confides in Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), his ex-wife, and she counsels him on what to do next.

Summer Helps Kyle See the Light on Y&R

This week, Summer meets Kyle in the Neil Winter’s Jazz Lounge pub as he is enjoying a drink. She knows him well, of course, and she can sense that something is wrong. So she pushes for an opening with him.

In a rare moment, Kyle on Young and the Restless tells his former partner how much he hates Diane. He also informs her that he cleans up Diane’s messes because she is always making blunders.

He believes he would be a far better fit for the role and that she is not qualified for it. Following his conversation with Summer, he understands he must make a decision. Either he quits the company completely, or he goes for Diane’s position and shows her that she is unqualified.

Diane Finally Going Down on Young and the Restless?

It appears like Kyle may decide to battle for his mother’s position at Jabot rather than step down politely. If that’s the case, things between mother and son are going to get very unpleasant. Diane might never forgive Kyle if he tries to kill her.

If he tries to take her employment, it could permanently damage their relationship. She would undoubtedly be embarrassed in front of her coworkers, particularly if Kyle pulls a nasty trick. There is undoubtedly a darker side to him on Young and the Restless.

And he doesn’t mind occasionally visiting that place. Things between him and Diane might never be the same if he allows it to take control. Since her return to Genoa City, numerous individuals have attempted to destroy her.

But ultimately, the person who does the greatest harm might be her own son. With Y&R, the drama is intensifying. Watch to find out if Kyle Abbott, the CBS sudser, is planning to ruin his mother.
