General Hospital predictions wonder if Jason Morgan will take Sonny Corinthos‘ place as the mob kingpin of Port Charles if he does hard time in prison on the ABC soap opera.

Sonny Corinthos out of Commission on General Hospital?

Sonny Corinthos is currently spiraling out of control on GH and is on the verge of breaking down. His social circle is disintegrating, and he is excluding nearly everyone from his life. Furthermore, those who had previously supported him want him to be held accountable.

His close pals demand that he be held responsible for his deeds and won’t continue to turn a blind eye. However, if Sonny loses, his friends and family would be at risk from his adversaries at General Hospital.

He has no desire to interact with Jason Morgan, his former closest friend. Whether Jason and Sonny like it or not, they might have to intervene. If this is the case, he will be even more of a target as adversaries attempt to eliminate him from all sides.

Jason Morgan Out of Mob Biz on GH

It’s been evident since Steve Burton’s return that Jason Morgan is no longer involved in the mob. He was a mole inside Pikeman Security working as an FBI informant under the name Alan Jacobs until his cover was broken.

Now that it’s finished, Pikeman is being used as bait by FBI Agent John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington). Jason is therefore living his life in anticipation of their attack on General Hospital.

In the interim, he has taken back his share of Corinthos Coffee, the lawful company owned by Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). It appears that he has no desire to be a part of the mafia. Furthermore, it wouldn’t be sage for Jason to lead a mob while employed by Agent Cates.

But if Sonny gets locked up and is unable to defend the people they share, he might not have much of an option. Jason cannot watch helplessly while power-hungry mobsters put Sonny’s entire family in danger.

General Hospital Predictions: Stone Cold Forced to Take over Sonny’s Business?

Clearly, Sonny’s luck has run out, and he could soon be charged with a serious crime. He might not be held accountable for all of his previous offenses, but he might be held accountable for his more recent ones. He almost killed Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) with his beatings.

Furthermore, Mayor Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis), Cyrus’ sister, urges him to file charges. Yes, it appears that he will. Furthermore, it was recently established that Sonny was responsible for Jagger’s beating. He already knows it was Sonny from General Hospital, no sure. That is an assault on a federal agent, if he can provide proof of it.

Sonny might also spend years behind bars. Sonny will therefore no longer be involved if everyone gets their way. GH is taking unexpected turns these days. Watch closely to see whether Jason Morgan steps in to replace Sonny Corinthos on the ABC daytime drama when he leaves for Pentonville.
