This week on Home and Away in Australia, Felicity is unimpressed when Cash organises a visit from their foster dad Gary, while Stacey drops a surprise confession on Xander.

This week, Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) meets her foster father for the first time in years, forcing her to confront her history.

Cash quickly realised that Flick had no intention of inviting the man who abducted the two of them after their father Anthony committed suicide as their wedding preparations with Tane (Ethan Browne) got underway.

When the sad events on the Newmans’ family property took place back in 2006, Gary (Peter Phelps) and his late wife Katherine were already good friends of the Newmans. Flick, however, had never accepted Gary and Katherine as new parents and had not spoken to them since the day she left the home, in spite of their best efforts to support the kids.

As Cash confronted his sister over the snub, Flick pointed out that having Gary there would only remind her of who couldn’t be there (i.e. their real parents).

Later, Cash discussed the situation with John (Shane Withington), who proposed that Cash invite Gary to the bay to pressure Flick into accepting responsibility. Although Cash first believed the plan wouldn’t be warmly received, he decided it was worth a try to try to make up before the wedding and gave Gary a call.

This week, despite having planned for them to meet outside the surf club, Cash is astonished when Gary shows up outside the house. Gary quickly realises that Flick is unaware of his impending arrival as Cash hurriedly attempts to shoo him away.

After a quick change of location, Cash tells Gary that he doesn’t want Flick to feel bad about not having invited him to the wedding.

As expected, their eventual reunion does not go down well. When Flick comes home to find Gary standing in the living room, she immediately lashes out at Cash.

They have a rocky history,” Jacqui told TV Week. “She feels ambushed by him and Cash. She’d hoped Cash would support her decision to not see him, but instead, he forces her to face him. This drives a wedge between her and Cash.

Gary gives the siblings some space and he runs into Tane outside.

It’s not the first time Felicity’d told me to go to hell,” Gary responds when Tane asks how the meeting went. “And it probably won’t be the last either!“.

When they are left alone together, Flick informs Gary that she has no interest in getting to know him romantically but that they should put on a good show for Cash. Gary, who is determined to reach Flick, sees see through her arrogance and draws her into a warm embrace.

Flick is afraid to admit that she is embarrassed by the way she behaved as an adolescent.

Gary came into her life after her dad died, which was confronting for her,” Jacqui continued. “Naturally, she rebelled and treated Gary badly. Now, she’s guilt-ridden and doesn’t want to see him.

But there are two reasons why Cash invited Gary to the bay: first, he brought Anthony’s old ute from the farm. Knowing how much it would mean to Felicity to have a piece of her father there, Cash intends to seek Justin’s (James Stewart) assistance in restoring the ute to its former glory so it may take pride of place on the special day.

As Cash begins his workday, his father’s favourite song begins to play on the radio, which seems to be the universe’s way of letting him know he’s on the right track.

Then, by sheer chance, Cash discovers a treasured keepsake that has been stashed away in the ute—their mother’s long-lost necklace.

It’s strange timing for Cash to find his mum’s lucky necklace,” Nicholas told Yahoo Lifestyle. “It’s been missing for so many years. And right when Cash is trying to make sure a part of their father is at Flick’s wedding, a piece of their mum turns up too.

In a heartwarming turn of events, Cash is able to give Flick the necklace to wear on her wedding day in the hopes that it will bring her good luck. Cash is pleased of his sister’s apparent willingness to try things with Gary.

She might require it, given the rumours we’re hearing about their impending wedding in the coming weeks. Read on…

Xander’s (Luke Van Os) new relationship with Stacey (Maleeka Gasbarri), a nurse turned personal trainer, seemed to be blossoming somewhere in Summer Bay until she made a startling statement to him.

The two got off to an admittedly rocky start when they had to hurry a client who was having a stroke to the hospital on their first date at Salt. But contrary to what Xander had thought, Stacey subsequently acknowledged that it was good to see the real him right away.

After spending a second afternoon together last week, Stacey grew to love Xander even more. After impressing her with his fluid dance movements during Justin (James Stewart) and Theo’s (Matt Evans) spontaneous performance outside Salt, he went behind the bar to assist Mac and continued to woo her over.

When Stacey informs Xander that she has a date that night with someone else, it somewhat shocks him because he is head over heels in love with her. She tells him at that point that she truly disagrees with monogamy.

Xander accepts her requirements because he would do everything to continue seeing her, but Rose (Kirsty Marillier) is unimpressed when she hears about the most recent development. If Stacey chooses to begin dating someone else concurrently, she doesn’t want Xander to experience heartbreak.

Is Xander and Stacey’s romance doomed for failure?

Also this week, after volunteering at a community kitchen in the city, both Marilyn (Emily Symons) and Roo (Georgie Parker) decided to work together to try to do more good for people in need..

Putting their heads together, the besties come up with several ideas and finally decide to plan a charity golf tournament, in the hope of raising $40,000 for a new food truck.

John is certainly up for the challenge, but who will he find to be his star golfer…?
