Home and Awaystar Ada Nicodemou has stunned fans after a photo from 1999 resurfaced online.

The star, who has played Leah Patterson on the soap since 2000, had a small but important role in The Matrix.

Ada Nicodemou, who played the gothic character Dujour in Home and Away, starred in The Matrix, according to a fan who posted a picture of her in the role on a Facebook fan page. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen those movies without realising that she was so young at the time.

The star has her hair piled into a high-top bun with a blunt-cut fringe, giving her a completely different appearance.

Fans expressed their shock on social media at the news that Ada had once appeared in The Matrix.

One admirer questioned, “How come I’m just now finding out that Ada Nicodemou was in The Matrix?”

Another person commented, “Ada Nicodemou in The Matrix made me so angry as a teenager that I could never watch Home and Away the same way again.”

Ada Nicodemou being in it is somewhat improbable, and she plays a role in starting Neo’s entire narrative, to boot. I like to imagine that Leah Patterson, who has advanced significantly since her days in Summer Bay, is actually playing the role.

Ada acknowledged her part in The Matrix as well after discovering a beer named “White Rabbit” in 2019. The opportunity for a trip down memory lane thrilled fans.

Former Home and Away actor Lukas Radovich wrote, “Still blows my mind,” to which Ada replied, “Follow the white rabbit.”

When her character in the movie knocks on Neo’s door, a fan said, “Is there any, better knock at the door!”

“It was awesome to see you in that movie. Another exclaimed, “I always thought you were the most gorgeous person in the world.

“Rewind to the past…

Still adore that movie,” a third person added.
