And now Pia Whitesell has revealed her three secrets for staying gorgeous naturally, advising getting enough of rest and exercise.
When the 38-year-old former Home & Away star was responding to a fan’s query, she listed her top three recommendations as “sleep, sweat, and lymphatic drainage.”
She continued, “I prefer to use a fascia blaster to get that lymphatic system drainage.”
The Australian actress with Chilean ancestry posted pictures of herself using a fascia blaster on her face in a sauna.
A fascia blaster is a stick-shaped massage tool used to treat connective tissue damage (fascia) that contributes to cellulite.
Ashley Black, a US businesswoman, invented the device. She first used it to cure her rheumatoid arthritis, but quickly realized it also helped to reduce the look of cellulite.
Additionally, Pia massages her body with the device to facilitate lymphatic drainage, which encourages the flow of bodily fluid through the lymph nodes.
It is a light massage that uses rhythmic strokes to help the body remove waste products and toxins and lessen edema.
For her mother’s historic 70th birthday celebration, Pia recently traveled back to Sydney.
She and her affluent Hollywood agent husband Patrick moved to Los Angeles last year from Australia.
