We’re getting ready for the sequel to this classic movie.
If you haven’t seen the 2009 movie Avatar, now is the time to put it on your list of things to watch. If you’ve been an Avatar fan since then, you may already be aware that the sequel, Avatar: The Way of Water, will be released in December of this year.

What is Avatar about?
Since Avatar initially appeared on our screens 12 years ago, we won’t hold it against you if you’ve forgotten a little bit about the plot.
In essence: In the year 2154, specifically, when Earth’s natural resources have been completely depleted, Avatar is set. The blue-skinned, 10-foot-tall, sapient humanoids known as the Na’vi live in the lush alien world of Pandora.
Through “Avatars” (Na’vi-human hybrids), humans can explore the alien world of Pandora, where the atmosphere is toxic to them, rather safely. With the help of his Avatar, a paralyzed former marine named Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) regains his mobility. He also falls in love with Ney’tiri (Zoe Saldaa), a Na’vi lady, and the two of them team together to battle for the survival of the Pandorian world.
