When Fiz said yes to become his wife earlier this month and they were married in a charming ceremony, the former councilman was on cloud nine.
Fiz, on the other hand, was having trouble separating herself from Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall), and she confessed as much to her husband.
Unaware that she had covertly resumed her relationship with Tyrone, Phill has been eager to win back her devotion. The next week, he shows up at the factory with the intention of proposing to her.
He tells an astonished Fiz, while donning a format hat, that he wants to wow her because she earlier remarked how much she adores men in military.He explains, “I could only acquire the hat, since it was a little short notice,” making Fiz feel embarrassed as he “intends to raise her up,” as shown in the footage from Wednesday’s (July 20) episode of the ITV soap opera.
The gesture doesn’t go exactly as planned, however.
Phil screams in agony upon bending down, revealing that he’s got a bad back, and he thinks that he’s put it out.
Beth Tinker (Lisa George) and Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) struggle to contain their laughter, as Fiz tends to her injured hubby.
