EMMERDALE favourite Rishi Sharma has been taking a backseat from the drama on the ITV soap of late but a new theory by Express.co.uk suggests he could end up making a big mistake as he begins an affair.
Since his relationship with Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) ended due to the arrival of Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) and the troublesome Meena Jutla, Rishi (played by Bhasker Patel) hasn’t been seen much (Paige Sandhu). The renowned Emmerdale character was a part of a brief storyline earlier this year when his son Jai Sharma’s (Chris Bisson) severe financial difficulties had an affect on his health. In upcoming scenes from the ITV soap opera, it appears he will be sidetracked by a new lover, but she could get him into the same mess as his ex-wife Manpreet did.
As Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley), who is unaware of what game Sandra Flaherty (Joanne Mitchell), is playing, discovers in the upcoming episodes, the drama begins.
She believes Liv Flaherty’s (Isobel Steele) mother has stolen money after it starts to disappear from the tip jar at the salon.
Bernice Blackstock watches as Sandra meets Rishi at the salon while she expresses her concerns to her daughter-in-law (Samantha Giles).
She begins to plot against him as soon as she learns that his bank account has received an unexpected infusion of cash.
Mandy downloads some CCTV software to try and capture the offender in the act after becoming perplexed as to who could have stolen the tip money.
After getting things in order at the salon and lately signing up for various dating apps, Rishi departs to get ready for a date.
He is shocked when he receives a response from someone who is eager to meet him but whom he does not recognize as Sandra.
Her goal has been to obtain as much cash as she can since she returned to the hamlet a few weeks ago.
She convinces Rishi that they are going on a date at the Woolpack in order to capture his attention before abruptly canceling.
Sandra enters all glammed up and offers to keep Rishi company in the hopes that he will open up to her now that she has exposed his vulnerability.
They ultimately return to Rishi’s home, and it doesn’t take long for the lovable guy to show his new acquaintance to the bedroom.
The following morning, when Rishi awakens, he is concerned about how it will appear to others given that they have only been friends for one day.
By the end of their chat, Sandra had successfully exploited his insecurities and persuaded him to give her an envelope containing money.
Rishi, feeling bad about himself, drowns his sorrows as Sandra continues to steal money that is not hers.
