Fans of EastEnders are keen to learn who is involved in the major Christmas murder plot, with the murderer apparently being one of the six illustrious Walford women.

With Ian Beale (played by Adam Woodyatt) already getting entangled in the drama, EastEnders appears to have thrown a hint about who is connected to the Christmas Day crime and who the culprit is.

When the flashback first occurred, viewers saw Denise Branning (Diane Parish), Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), and Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) with Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) on their wedding day.

These six women all exchanged concerned faces and gathered around a dead body, suggesting that they were somehow connected to the death.

In the episode that aired on Tuesday night, Ian invited Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) to sample his food in an effort to secure funding for his enterprise.

As Nish questioned Ian about his contributions, he replied, “I know it’s a large outlay initially,” as they discussed the alternatives.

Ian bragged about his “30 plus years of restaurant experience” and continued, “And I would hope my culinary prowess speaks for itself.”

Ian further attempted to secure the investment by stating that he would recover his investment in two years.

Suki brought up their most recent professional encounter—which Ian described as a “misunderstanding”—and, fortunately for Ian, she laughed it off.

Clearly irritated by Ian’s remark, Nish remarked, “I can’t afford to get into bed with someone who’s going to stab me in the back.”

In an effort to push the envelope and connect with Nish, Ian said, “You shouldn’t have married her then,” as Suki gave him a warning glance.

Could Nish be the victim and Suki be the murderer, as suggested by the BBC soap opera? Has she had enough of his domineering behavior at this point?

The murdered man’s identity would be revealed thanks to the cufflinks, Nish actor Navin Chowdhry previously hinted.

He admitted in an interview with The Mirror that “I am aware that Nish is the leading contender to pass away at Christmas.

“I believe that following the cufflinks is the key clue. Follow the cufflinks and keep an eye out for some content we recently filmed on them.

Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley) gave the cufflinks to Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) after a poker game, therefore Jack currently holds them.

But since Nish is the rightful owner, is it possible that he will get them back in time for Christmas?
