According to The Young and the Restless (Y&R) teasers, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is, or at least believes he is, beginning a new life with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
Sally had just experienced a difficult breakup with his brother, so Morrow’s character hesitated before starting a relationship with her.
Not the first lady Nick and Adam have fought over is Sally. She is associated with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), with whom Nick just renewed their collaboration, and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Both brothers had ties to the late Sage Newman (Kelly Sullivan), who is also deceased.
Every time Nick and Adam compete for the same woman, it seems like they persuade themselves that something different will happen.

Sharon’s first love was Nick. Adam’s first victim was Chelsea. Christian Newman (Alex Wilson), whose father, Sage, had an affair with Adam when Sage was with Nick, was born as a result. Grossman’s character has voluntarily enabled Nick to raise Christian.
Adam had Sally’s attention. But he treated her harshly, just as he had treated the other persons who were described. After Sally’s heart was broken, she and Nick developed a closer relationship.

In his personal life, Nick reached a point where he was ready for a fresh start. He gave Sally room and time, as was mentioned, so she could decide whether Adam was related to her past.
Sally persuaded Nick and herself that she needed to stay away from Adam. Then, after a brief separation from Nick, she became pregnant with Adam’s child.
The devastating agony of Ava Hope’s miscarriage served to underline how much Sally and Adam still feel for one another. Adam is ready to wait until she’s finished with Nick.

Adam is not a patient man. But he is sure that by doing this, Sally will finally come to realize that he is the ideal partner for her.
Nick will discover that Adam kissed Sally outside her Genoa City Athletic Club suite after he returns from a business trip.Adam won’t have any other defense for the action than that he consumed too much champagne.
It remains to be seen how Sally would explain their supper to Adam before the kiss and let him accompany her to the suite.The most important question on Y&R is how she manages her ongoing affections for Adam.
