Jacob Gallagher of Emmerdale is recuperating in the hospital after experiencing anaphylactic shock after consuming nuts-containing food at an event.
Viewers of the ITV soap opera Emmerdale are confident they know what will transpire between Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) and Jacob Gallagher (Joe Warren Plant), and it appears to be sinister.
Victoria was happy to discover that Jacob was improving after suffering a serious allergic reaction to nuts on Tuesday night’s episode of Emmerdale.
Before he took a mouthful, she had told him that the dish she had made was free of any traces of nuts, and now she felt terrible.
On Monday’s episode, when Jacob experienced anaphylactic shock, his parents David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) and Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) became extremely concerned.
When Victoria acknowledged it was her responsibility that Jacob almost died, Leyla screamed at her.
David, who formerly dated Victoria, though, seemed to be a little bit more sympathetic.
Although it looks that David wants his ex back, she broke up with him last year after discovering his deceitful ways.
During the most recent incident in the hospital, Victoria went to see how Jacob was doing and quickly realized he had affections for her.
The two appear to have been communicating via messaging; may they be having a hidden relationship? Or perhaps it’s just that Jacob is David’s son, and Victoria isn’t interested in him romantically.
Before David’s departure from the soap opera, fans shared their predictions on Twitter regarding how the plot will develop.
Eli wrote on Twitter, “Please don’t tell me they’re going to have an affair or is Jacob going to become obsessed with her #emmerdale.”
“No, that’s just wrong, stop it Jacob and Victoria… #emmerdale,” wrote Teena Massam.
