A family relationship will eventually be formed between Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), according to General Hospital spoilers and news. They’ll even use one of their phones to take a selfie together.
General Hospital Spoilers: It Started In Greenland
When Curtis arrived in Greenland to assist in the rescue of Trina, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), and Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay), Trina began to accept Curtis. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) returned with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) returned with her, Curtis, Spencer, and Ace. Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) were also traveling with Drew, who took Liesl first so she could donate her bone marrow on a different flight.
Trina was particularly aware of Curtis’ lack of animosity for Spencer in comparison to the rest of her family, and how successfully they cooperated to divert Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and his thugs. Trina was able to return to the cabin before they noticed the satellite phone—which she had—was missing.
GH Spoilers: Curtis Ashford Doesn’t Have Cassadine Prejudice
Since Curtis is aware that Spencer was primarily raised by his grandmother when he wasn’t in boarding school, he doesn’t have the Cassadine prejudice that holds that all Cassadines are like Victor. Trina’s mother, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), attributes all of the world’s problems to Spencer, therefore he wins a lot of points for doing it in her eyes.
Spencer was devoted to Trina while they were in the complex and on board the Haunted Star in Greenland, and Curtis was pleased by his quick thinking. He can spot true love when he sees it, therefore he won’t get in the way of Spencer and Trina’s relationship or disparage him in front of her. However, if necessary, he will stand up for Spencer to Portia. That would mean a lot to Trina, who frequently disagrees with her mother about Spencer because the latter is unwilling to give him a chance due to her preconceptions.
General Hospital Spoilers: It’s Curtis Ashford’s Birthday, Two Things To Celebrate
It’s Curtis’ birthday, and he has two reasons to celebrate: one, it’s his birthday, and second, he recently learned that he is the father of a 21-year-old girl! Curtis continually tells Portia that Trina is of legal age and that interfering with her decisions—particularly romantic ones—will only lead to anger. Even worse is the fact that Portia won’t meet Spencer for herself since she believes he is bad and that evil people never change.
Due to Curtis’ support of Spencer and Trina’s friendship with him, the two become close and bond. Even though it seems like she and Curtis are up against the world, they undoubtedly develop a family tie, with Curtis acting as her ally with regard to Spencer.
