Along with her husband Frank and stepchildren Chris and Zoe, Claire King made her debut as Kim Tate in Emmerdale in 1989.

Since she first arrived in the Dales more than 30 years ago, Claire King has been a longtime fan favorite on the ITV soap opera Emmerdale.

The actress moved out of the community in 1999 with her son Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln), and she wasn’t spotted again until 2018, when it was discovered that she had been the brains behind a plot to wipe out the Dingles.

Over the past few years, Kim has been at the center of several significant plotlines, including an affair with Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough), Joe Tate’s attempted murder (Ned Porteous), and Jamie’s poisoning.

After settling down with Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) and taking care of her grandson Thomas, she has most recently begun to find peace.

Claire, an actress, was however photographed in 1988 in a sizzling shot looking great before she arrived in the Dales.

The actress may be seen in one glamorous photo sporting a red and black outfit with a lace-up corset.

She also has black lace gloves on and silver earrings on, and her blonde hair is unkempt.

She is seen wearing a black silk slip dress with revealing lace accents around her bust in another image from the shoot.

In another image, Kim dominates attention as though practicing for her evil part.

Claire gives the camera a wary look while sitting on a chair and donning a form-fitting black outfit.

In addition to her work on Emmerdale, Claire is also recognized for her roles as Erica Holroyd in Coronation Street and Karen Betts in Bad Girls.

She also participated in the 2014 seasons of Celebrity Big Brother and Strictly Come Dancing.

At the age of 28, Claire received a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis. She later claimed that the “cold” and “damp” conditions on Emmersale make working there painful.

According to her, having a flare-up is unpleasant and leaves you feeling quite exhausted.

“The cold seems like it goes to your bones when I’m on location in the winter.

People frequently don’t consider it to be a problem because you aren’t in a wheelchair or hobbling, but on the program, they take care of me and give me more indoor scenes in the winter.
