Tucker’s response, though, wasn’t particularly gratifying. It appears that the power couple may be engaging in some cunning deception. Are Ashley and Tucker Faking Their Breakup on The Young and the Restless?
Recently, Tucker moved back to Genoa City, but something about their split isn’t quite right. It’s unlikely that they would abandon their plan to overthrow Jack and take over Jabot so simply after months of planning. Fans are perplexed by the situation and Ashley’s side of the story, which is still unclear. Could Ashley and Tucker’s purported split have a secret benefit? Apparently so.
The Young and the Restless rumor mill is already in full swing, and if our theory is accurate, it means that Jack would probably intervene to defend Ashley from Tucker if he thought she was in danger. Ashley would have the ideal pretext to carry on her plotting from within Jabot, where she already has plenty of experience. But this situation has a perplexing aspect to it! If the split is false, why did Tucker sleep with Audra Charles? Everyone is aware that Ashley would find that unacceptable.
Could it be that Ashley put forth the idea to give their breakup more weight? What better way to demonstrate a breakup than to become involved with Audra, the town’s most notorious man-eater? Jack and Abby Newman haven’t received a totally frank answer from Ashley. There is an issue with her portrayal of Tucker as abusive and unable to understand her commitment to Jabot. Tucker has never exposed audiences to a violent side. Yes, he occasionally has fits of rage and is unpredictable, but violence? His style is not.
Instead of physical aggression, Tucker is renowned for his cunning and deception. In fact, he’s been trying to win Billy over in the hopes of using him to learn more about Jabot. Billy’s potential opposition to Jack and Diane Jenkins could very well be won by Tucker, advancing their scheme. According to spoilers for The Young and the Restless, Ashley and Tucker might be fabricating their separation. Their strategy involves subverting the Abbotts from within in order to remove Jack from Jabot and seize power.
